Sales Internship
We will soon be offering exciting internship roles in our fast paced, growing business within the sales department of Energy Solutions Lighting. ESL is a Bay Area lighting contractor which specializes in retrofitting outdated lighting system to make them more energy efficient. We are a green company partnering with PG&E and local government rebate programs to help businesses save money while promoting a greener environment.
This experience will help you become familiar with and be exposed to various aspects of the sales process; from following leads and finding clients to closing jobs. The internship position will also teach you a great deal about energy efficiency, sales techniques, data input using excel programs and sales tools, and working in a team environment..
We are flexible with school schedules knowing that some students have full workloads and many other responsibilities. Programs will be constructed on a case by case basis, generally operating on a two days a week schedule for a quarter or semester timeline.
Qualities we are looking for:
- Outgoing, independent attitude
- Self motivated and detail oriented
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient with basic computer skills (knowledge of Excel or other Microsoft Office tools is a plus)
- Ability to effectively communicate well with clients
- Positive and energetic attitudes that can mesh well with our young, motivated staff
- Desire to learn about sales
