Energy Efficiency Sales Rep.
Seeking a highly motivated and self-disciplined individual for direct sales in the energy efficiency marketplace. Be a part of the exciting, fast-paced and emerging green economy. We cover the entire Bay Area as well as Central California. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to leverage the government’s focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. This position represents an opportunity to have an immediate impact on the growth of our company as well as significant financial upside. You will work closely with property owners, facility managers and utility companies in evaluating and identifying savings opportunities for commercial and industrial facilities. Compensation will be based on your ability to effectively implement the savings solutions at each facility.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional presentation ability-verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized with knowledge of the internet and solid PC skills
- Strong desire to learn and improve your sales process daily
- Prior sales experience a plus but not required
- College degree preferred
- Ability to generate leads and follow up effectively
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with utility company representatives to prospect and close on sales opportunities
- Maintain sales database, manage email communications and conduct market research
- Maintain accountability and tracking for sales activities and goals
